Brancato’s Catering was founded in 1942 By Chuck Robinson as Robinson Catering, but was purchased by the Brancato family in 1968.
We have a 25,000+sq ft facility, which includes a large kitchen, with a full bakery area as well as multiple ovens, fryers, skillets, steam kettles. We have a large dish room facility capable of handling large volumes. We have multiple walk in freezers and refrigerators, as well as a large dry storage area. We have a warehouse with dock capacity for at least 7 trucks at one time, and substantial amount of storage space. This is why we are able to give you the best price, without having to outsource space or equipment.
Our head chef and his team are more than qualified. They all have extensive cooking backgrounds as well as culinary training. They are constantly staying abreast to the latest trends, and creating new menu ideas.
Our head chef has been cooking for over 20 years with our company. Prior to working with Brancato’s he has been a Sous Chef with multiple local restaurant that include Loch Lloyd Country Club, and Tattler’s Restaurant. We also have multiple Sous Chefs that have gained experience from successful restaurants and programs abroad and in the area. We are very proud to say that our chefs have been with us for many years and understand the quality we demand.
We pride our company with the ability to cook any style of food. We have menus that range from down home country food, to secret Italian recipes, excellent Mexican food, KC style BBQ, or prime rib. We do not limit our menus to one particular style of cooking. We also have the ability to custom design menus with items that may not be on our print menus. We have a very creative culinary team that can develop not only mouth watering dishes, but dishes that will impress your guest’s eye.
The staff at Brancato’s Catering prides themselves on their work and takes pride in the company they work for. Many of our employees have been with the company for over 10 years, and most of them have been with us for over 5 years. Besides being with our company for an extensive period of time, we look at past credentials of our staff when we hire. Many of our caterers have worked in various restaurants and hotels, and have been through culinary training from recognized culinary institutes including Johnson County Community College and the CIA (Culinary Institute of America). Many of our staff members are Serv-Safe certified and carry proper food handling cards.
Our staff is trained to execute parties of any type or size. We also have off premise chefs that are trained to cook on site, if necessary. Whether it is passed hors’ devours or a picnic with hot dogs our staff will execute in the most professional manner.
We employ 12 full time event planners, which are experienced in both catering and party rental needs. They are comfortable handling any type or size event.
Brancato’s Catering holds the proper health permits required. We are routinely inspected and always pass with high marks. We also are fully insured.
We own all of our own equipment. Our sister company is All Seasons Party Rental, and this gives us access to all tables, chairs, china, warmers, tents, or any other equipment you may need for your party.
There are never hidden charges for catering equipment, such as chaffers or food transporting hot boxes. The only extra charges will be for extra items ordered, and that will be stated well in advance.
We have a strict uniform policy, and our staff is always in uniform no matter what type of event they are catering. We have different types and styles of uniforms to compliment all types of events.
We have been in business for over 50 years, and have continued to serve many of the same customers for many decades. Our reputation and references will tell you about our quality and high level of service. You can find a long list of references in our menu packet or on our website.
