At The Legacy at Green Hills, we take the stress out of wedding planning. We offer various options to have your wedding, right in the heart of Kansas City. We are located on 38 beautiful acres, lined with trees and a small lake. We boast an amazing house, from 1912, that allows you to spend the day getting ready in a convenient setting. You can have your wedding anywhere on the property, but we do have a designated ceremony site. We also have plenty of parking, a brick patio, and helpful staff.

Even more important than the stunning views, we help you achieve your dream event. Most venues simply offer the use of their space. We offer more than that - you describe the ideal day and we'll help you get to that point. Our hands-on approach leaves you free to relax and enjoy the most important day of your lives.

Here at The Legacy at Green Hills we are proud of our incredible facility. Our amenities are beautiful and advantageous for any event. We are situated on 38 beautiful acres. Along with the vast landscape there are tons of beautiful trees and a 4 acre lake, which makes for great photo opportunities. We offer free parking on-site. Located on our property is a home from 1912, which has 3 entertaining spaces, a full kitchen, 3 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms, a bridal suite, a dressing room, a groom's room (complete with TV, foosball table, Pool table, and a card table), a deck, a brick patio, and beautiful views! The house is a wonderful option for couples to spend the day getting ready but it also serves as a space for overnight stays! Overnight stays are the perfect opportunity to have your rehearsal, set up decorations, and spend time with your bridal party, creating the feeling of a destination wedding right in Kansas City!

You can have your ceremony anywhere on the property, but we do have a designated ceremony site. Our ceremony site is just East of the house. There is a concrete walkway from the house to the Pergola. The 32' wide Pergola has a concrete pad that spans the entire width, allowing for plenty of space for your bridal party. The Pergola has electricity for the use of a microphone or lighting. You can hang floral or decor from the Pergola, allowing you to create the backdrop for your dream ceremony. The ceremony site is graded so your guests can see, regardless of where they are sitting. Plus, we do all of the set-up and tear-down of chairs so you can relax and enjoy your day!

Receptions are hosted in our 60' x 90' open-air pavilion. Complete with concrete floors, beautiful chandeliers, ceiling fans and plenty of outlets. We also have ADA compliant restrooms. The pavilion is a great back-up plan for a rainy day.
